Cant see the 2.0 Version at appworld in Germany yet ? Did I miss anything ? How can I download the new version ?

  • flg

Should be available soon…sorry for the delay of the AppWorld!

Short question: What exactly does the new “powersong” feature do? I know I can choose a powersong but how do I play it while running? Thanks for the work!

  • flg

You can activat the song during an activity by swiping to the iPod view and press on the “Powersong” button. Best regards, team runtastic

  • Peter

Ok, thank you. Would be a nice feature if the powersong auto-plays if you get slower. Or if you are getting near the end of your workout. Just an idea because usually I have my iPhone in my pocket while running. Keep up the good work!

the application is good, but the pro release is wrongly defined… commercially, it brings no value… it requires another positioning that enables customers to identify clear value for paying, regularly and punctually (different customers different needs…)…
i can see many angles that this can be moved forward, but the present one does not qualify…
if you can, clarify the strategy behind the pro release from a value point of view to your customers…

I agree with you on that, Pete. If it played at certain times, like near the end of a goal or something, then it would be useful. I have the same problem of it not in my hand when I’m running. Regardless, I still love the app!!

    Thanks Peter, thanks Luke.

That´s a quite good idea with the power song. Maybe there will be an option to play it after 10 or 20 or 30 minutes, or near the end of a workout.

    Best regards,

I love Runtastic 2 on my Blackberry. I use it for cycling and the spoken distance/time/speed information is great. My Garmin 305 will be on ebay pretty soon. One annoyance is the time it takes me at the beginning and end as I have to press Start then put my Blackberry in it’s pocket before actually starting to cycle. At the end of the journey I have to take the Blackberry out, and then enter my password (required for company security standards) before I can press stop. Two possible fixes would help here. a. If the click button on the Blackberry headset would function as start and stop. b. Runtastic trims the stationery time at the start and end of the run.

Further to my earlier comment – if the click button option were implemented, it would be great if this was accompanied by a spoken ‘Started’ and ‘Stopped’ so the user has confirmation that the click has been actioned.

    Hello Alain,

thank you for the feedback. Tell us, how would you do the promotion for the PRO version?

    We appreciate your help :-)

    Thanks,
